Bro, I started going bald at 22 and this was before the availability of all the products and treatments people have access to these days. No amount of products or medicine could overcome my genetic pre-disposition. That being said, this is awesome advice for most guys who aren't as susceptible to balding as I was/am. The key is to start early and be consistent. Good video, Austin. P.S. - I'm lucky I got a good head shape haha!

To anyone out there that’s actually losing hair, not just a teeny tiny bit like Austin, THIS IS NOT What you should be doing. Step 1
Propecia/Finasteride PERIOD! You can not stop balding without lowering your DHT and only Finasteride and Dutasteride will do that. Yes there is a tiny chance of some side effects but me and everyone I know taking it (about 10 people) have not experienced any serious side effects, don’t let the fear mongers online scare you. After addressing the DHT then yea everything in this video is a good idea just know that any hair gained by minoxidil NEVER becomes terminal, it’s not like using it for a beard, you will need to use it for life. Same with Finasteride and the earlier the better! As soon as you see any sign of thinning get on it immediately if you want a chance at saving your hair! If you are one of the unlucky few that experiences side effects, first make sure it’s not in your head (most cases) and then their are ways of mitigating side effects like lower doses spread out etc, but don’t let the fear stop you or you have zero chance of saving your hair.

I was about Norwood 3-4 and I recently gotten Scalp micropigmentation and it's a total game changer. It knocked off a few years off my age and went from looking 45- to mid twenties (Currently 30). Shout out Austin for recommending it to me

don't forget to apply products in the crown as that's a place where ppl often experience thinning as well

The only thing about using minoxidil for the scalp is that you have to use it forever. The moment you stop using it you lose the hair you gained from it. Because of that I decided against it. Instead I use jojoba oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil, and rosemary oil everyday along with dermastamping once a week. The results won’t come as fast compared to minoxidil but just be patient and consistent with it and the results will come. I started doing it 2 months ago and I’m seeing the results now.

You are lucky to be 26 and only have such minimal hairloss! I'm 22 got the McDonalds hairline and diffusely thinning, even on finasteride

I went to Turkey in October for a hair transplant, you can see in my videos. I did not like that my hairline was receding, it felt like the barber was giving me lineups on the top of my head. Best decison I made was getting a hair transplant!

Austin minoxidil and that shampoo are minor things to prevent hair loss, if your scalps sensitivity to DHT gets too high those won't be enough. You would then have to hop on a DHT blocker like finasteride, so just keep an eye on that hairline still. Keep up the great content!

I actually do this routine too. One thing I’d suggest is using a derma roller 2-4x - week. It’s been studied aswell and it is very effective. With the derma roller added to your routine you’d be solid. I’d suggest doing it nighttime since you are using rye oils and really want your scalp to obsorb it

Been using keeps for a year now! My hairline improves a bit every month! Not exactly how it was when I was 21(I’m 27 now) but I’m excited to see it this time next year

I catched my hair loss really damm soon. I alwayes cared about my look and was pretty sensetive to any changes. So I reversed it completly. 1 thing to consider is the intial hair lose you gonna have for the first couple months. I got really agressive hair loss from minoxidil, it stoped after 5 months, and my hair went back to my starting point after 8 months. And after 1 year I got all my hair back to how it was when I was 12 years old.

I am broke and balding. Every video from this guy is just basically telling me there's no point.

Man I'm a firm believer u can't stop time against you, the best thing you can do is live the healthiest you can with your life and reduce stress as much and keep a healthy balance between your life and relationships.. I learned this the hard way going GRAY at age 22-24, I was plucking like crazy not knowing it would cause my hair not to grow back, so when I saw my hairline not as full because of it, I said f it and just started wearing hats because of my insecurity with it.. I only feel confident when I have a fresh cut but I'm still thankful I have a lot of hair and nobody in my family has gone bald ever, all the men in both sides of my family, young and old, single and married have a head full of hair even old age so hopefully I'm lucky to keep that going..

Austin, use rosemary oil too bro, rosemary oil is scientifically proven to reduce dht when applied to the scale, it’s been working for me
