I’ve done trim carpentry for 29 years. Crown has always been my weak spot. Small crown not an issue it’s the big 7 1/2 or larger that give me a hard time. Then there’s always a decent time in between. Just enough to forget how you did it last time 😊

Solid Cope, but try not to nail the receiving piece (left) so close to the corner until you have your coped piece in place to installed so you can adjust the bed if needed:)

I’m having issues cutting the right angles because my ceiling is vaulted can you make a video for that type of ceiling?

I switched from coping to 45 on crown, actually find it works better, can adjust your mitres until they are perfect sliding them up and down the wall slightly and you don’t have to worry about not having backing in the ceiling when you are nailing your coped piece. I’ve had a lot of success doing that, it’s way faster and you can fully glue your joint so it cannot come apart

If cut a back angle in your cope you can stab it into the other piece for a perfect fit

I don't know that corner didn't look that tight look like there was a big gap underneath of it a lot of caulk or they're going to have to floated drywall but it looks good other than that that
