So, college professors should be allowed to fill their students' heads with all manner of propaganda about how "bad" America is, but not to teach them about one of its greatest success stories? To those who ask "Why"? I say, perhaps it's because she wants her students to know that, with hard work and dedication, anyone of any race can succeed here, and that the only one who can truly hold you back is YOU. AS a long - time Selena fan, I know what she had to go through to succeed, and it was more than most of us will ever have to. With so much negativity in the world, why would anyone have a problem with people learning about a positive person who never gave up, despite the odds against her, and who's story provides a lesson we can all look to for inspiration in our own lives? Better HER than some of the OTHER famous people who've gotten rich off of the country they hate.
