Ok this whole video is kinda wrong. Maa Durga was definitely not sucking Raktabeej 's blood. She immediately let a portion of her spirit give rise to Maa Kali, who also happened to immediately arm herself with multiple plates, which she held so as to prevent blood from each of Raktbeej's injuries touching the ground.

Which is kinda ironic considering that Maa Kali has much less arms than Maa Durga, and because of being pretty much perpetually enraged, isn't too bright.

Oh and let's not mention the fact that two of our most powerful Gods literally use fishing spears as weapons ( the Trishul/Trident in case anyone was wondering, although our version of it is slightly different from Poseidon's in that the auxiliary spearheads are curved outwards ) .

Every time Kali killed Raktabij, another Raktabij was grown with a drop of his blood, so Kali ate all those Raktabij so that no drop of blood from Raktabij fell on the ground.
