Im not a hindu but I think the almighty god in hinduism too is immortal. Its the avatars that gets born and goes back after the purpose is served.

But God comes in human form to the earth and takes action so that the time cycle can go on according to dharma. And the Human form of God has to die.

We Hindus were so tolerant of all religion 20-30 years back..as a kid I used to consider prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ as good and will think of them same as our gods n will easily pray with folded hands...we were never bothered by whether others bestow the similar courtesy and respect...how things change..seriously god die vs don't die what is the level we have reduced to

In Hinduism, tridev are the supreme God. Brahma: the creator of cosmos, Bishnu: the maintainer of balance in Cosmos, maheshwar: the destroyer. They take different living forms in different times to restore dharma. Those incarnation of God is what we called "Avatars". Avatars are super power life forms, which of course dies or needs to be killed when their assigned work is over. So definitely tridev never dies or have any birth or death. Their avatars has birth/death. That does not mean Tridev has death. Thank you.
