I just replaced my screen and replaced my original home button with the one that came with it (It was a screen with the digitizer already installed). However the touch id doesn't work and when i go to settings it has erased my fingerprints that were previously recorded and gives an error when trying to turn on the fingerprint option for logging on. Do you know of a fix for this?

I recently got a 6 Plus with a home button issue. the actual home button was fine and salvaged perfectly, but the ribbon cable that connects to the home button was broken. I ordered a replacement backplate shield with ribbon cable attached it seemed to be pinched(at the top of the shield where ribbon comes out to plug into the board when i got it) I installed it to see if it would make any difference. The touch id does not work which is not my issue(It is the original home button, not original backplate and ribbon) Everything seemed to be working normally for a couple hours, until i noticed a bright spot on the top right corner of the screen, so to be safe i took the phone apart and followed all the normal procedures.I checked for anything behind the back plate and found nothing, so i closed it up and put it back together. THE PROBLEM- the lcd will only come on if i leave the home button unplugged, soon as i plug it into the motherboard the screen shuts off. Could it be the pinched Cable at the top of the backplate or the home button is malfunctioning? Any ideas would help, i have tested the connection of the home button and it seems to be Thanks for any

Hi i replace my screen with the touch id and after that the touch id stop working
The problem is in the connector from the logic board to the touch id the one that is one the aluminum plate in the back
Do you now a way to replace the aluminum plate cause since the 6s it looks the plate it's attached to the screen

I have replaced the battery from a local shop. After battery replacement. The phone was working for 10 days. Suddenly the display is just blank. Iphone gets detected in iTunes. If you replace both the home button AND the panel with the flex cable... should the home button work? I tried this and it hasn't so far... I'll check with the vendor if the part is defective.

Ok so I was swapping a screen with home button on to a different 6s, just to check if it works . Now my home button doesn’t work on the good screen I even changed button a still doesn’t work, what didn’t I do wrong ? I don’t see a rip or damage on anything

my iphone felled in toilet sink. as soon as i removed my phone i wiped it out removed the water through hair dryer & than kept it in the rice bag for one day. the next day when i plugged the charger it started charging & asked for it to restored the data. when restored was complete my phone started working.
but two problems occured-
1. 3d touch is not working.
2. home button not working. but my fingerprint scanner & reachability is working fine.
i opened my iphone. tried to clean the inside with alcohol. but home button still not working.

can u give me any suggestion.
