Salem's Lot had a bumpy ride to release – as the movie was first announced in 2019 and was initially slated for a theatrical release in 2022. King fans have been eager to see the film released, and the excitement is also felt by Lewis Pullman, who plays author Ben Mears, and Mackenzie Leigh, who portrays Susan Norton.

Alfre Woodard, who takes on the gender-swapped role of Dr. Cody from the novel, promised the new Salem's Lot will have horror fans "shrieking," "laughing" and reflecting on the theme of a small town being taken over by darkness.

Was it delayed? 2nd kid to get caught seemed older in his role as Homelander’s son in ‘The Boys’

This film had something, it wasn't executed well., The Actors actually quite surprised me how they did. I wanted to see more actually, a lot of great opportunities missed!. The Vampires wasn't that we'll designed, wasn't like Hoper's gritty vampires. This is still my second pick behind the 1979 Original series.
