How did you get the wider hub to fit into the rear dropouts? Would love to see a step by step series on how this all was done. I've got an old Cannondale sitting in the garage, just waiting to have this treatment. Anything special on how to fit the bottom bracket? Really cool!!!!

Hey I love what you did with this bike. I do have a question I'm putting together my 1988. Criterium series aswell. I saw that you put a 10sp sram cassette you think I can upgrade mine but to a 10 speed dura ace? I been told I may not have space for that size.

HARLEY, do you recommend these vintage alloy bikes? Myself I bought pretty cheaply used CAAD 3 from 1998 and I wonder about swaping it for something like alloy Defy or getting my CAAD fitted and upgrade it with some new parts. Do you think I will feel any difference in terms of comfort, handling etc. on modern alloy bike?
