DRAINFIX CLEAN | Collecting, Filtering & Draining Rainwater

Our innovative DRAINFIX CLEAN filter substratum channel collects, filters and drains rainwater for further use.

Rainwater normally seeps directly into the soil and thus contributes to the formation of new groundwater. Precipitation in built-up areas can hardly enter the water cycle naturally.

Pollutants and dirt particles of different grain sizes and qualities pollute the rain runoff. They are caused in road traffic, for example, by tire abrasion and combustion processes. Among other things, mineral oil hydrocarbons, heavy metal particles and PAHs are released here. The pollutants are bound to the finest particles, so that effective cleaning is only possible by filtration.

The DRAINFIX CLEAN drainage channel also works in heavy rainfall. The system is approved up to the highest load class F 900, so that heavy vehicles such as excavators and trucks can drive over it. The channel contains a drainage pipe surrounded by the filter substrate CARBOTEC 60. This filters even the smallest particles. The filtered and purified water flows through the drainage pipe to an infiltration system.

DRAINFIX CLEAN channels provide a pollutant retention of up to 99.8%.
