I am a songwriter because of bands like Foreigner meant so much to me as a kid. I started playing keys at 6, guitar by 13. By 17 I was playing bass and arranging drums, recording multi-track compositions. The really cool thing (to me) is that all three of my children have the gift of music. I just challenged my oldest to attempt Lou Graham’s vocals in this song.

More than any modern day singer from the 80's, 90's and 00's, not even counting in today's lack luster offerings, the whole catalog of Foreigner is defined by the voice an lyrics of Lou Gramm who sang/sings with such passion and range. I recently went through the whole playlist on a trip from Knoxville back to Atlanta...90% are easily hits...I sang the whole way. Just awesome.
