It started with dreams, and ended with him staring at me in the corner of my bedroom. I’ll never forget it. I’m 24, and I’m still terrified of the dark because of it

Never had sleep paralysis but I've seen him before, apparently children experiencing traumatic events also see him. I saw him multiple times when I was going through a traumatic event at a very young age and years later when I had to sort of relive that trauma because I was seeking therapy. Haven't seen him in years, kinda miss him, he was strangely comforting.

What is weird about it and why its such a big deal is that nobody sees sleep paralysis demons the same, its based on your brain dreaming while also getting stimuli from your eyes, basically casting the dreams into the room; but the Hatman is a constant, with many many people having seen him with very little changes to his description, a tall shadowy man with a brimmed hat and sometimes red eyes.
