Hi Boss, many thanks for the vedio, I have tried it out and it turns out really fantastic. It's a pitty that youtube cannot be commented with pictures. Otherwise, I would like to share my work with you. Many thanks again!😁

The close-up in the thumbnail looks awesome 👌. I don't see it nearly as well in the video, but this is the kind of video I like to learn from. No BS, no life story, no "so that being said, I'll get straight to the point" before more blithering. This is ACTUALLY straight to the point and easy to understand in just 3 minutes.

The easiest and fastest rust effect technique i've found. Ty.

Painted most of the metal areas (75%) on a knight rampager with this technique and it came out so good. I would say that your optional ink step in the end is definitely mandatory for larger areas

All three of your metallic videos have been really helpful, thank you!

After having experimented with my own bronze&verdigris mix, i’m excited to try your rust method to finish the weathering in my skaven army… doombull brown and xv-88 already on the way 😁

Only just started mini-painting with absolutely no artistic background but I gave this a go I was surprised how good the end result is. I appreciate the videos geared for people who are just starting out but still want to paint something awesome looking. Cant wait to try more techniques from your videos!

Tysm! I've created a good rust effect for weapons and small pieces, but I am going to paint a chaos rhino tank with this method. It's gonna be rad 🤘👊💥

Perfect video for my undead skeleton minion army. A Necromancer in D&D with undead with shiny armor and weapons would be weird haha.

Thnx a lot

Hey boss, great video! Do you think a matte or gloss finish would be best for rust? Thanks for you time!

Nice tutorial! Peronaly the XV 88 is to yellow for rust though, I'm going more orange myself.

I tend to use cheaper hobby paints rather than dedicated miniature paints. But coincidentally, I have colors in my collection that could map more or less to all three of these (a burnt sienna, "rusted pipe", and a silver). I've been experimenting on my own for how to do rust effects, so this video is helpful.
