I'm not the type to copy someone's work, I like to do my own thing but in this case I had to copy you almost brick for brick...😂 absolutely perfect my guy...and really wasn't that hard because of your awesome tutorial...when I first saw the tour I thought it must have took days or even weeks to finish this but I was able to pretty much do it in a few hours. That court yard idea is genius. I never would have thought to build my Freighter like a mini city. Love what you did. As soon as I unlock the rest of my base parts I'm going to create myself one. And build stairs.

Man, what a fantastic video. I came on YouTube looking for Freighter layout ideas since the overhaul and you delivered.

I had a very small issue with making sure I had the correct amount of platforms as you, width-wise, for the “skeleton” section at the beginning. It wasn’t really touched on exactly how wide you made your skeleton, so I had to rewatch and count the Exterior Platforms myself.

Great video though, I just subbed.

Don’t know if this is still bugged since this was posted but I followed a similar leveled layout as Rod did here…but didn’t save while building and got to the point where the industrial section was finished, started an expedition, and when I came back to build, nearly 90% of what I did was gone, including the main area with the teleporter. Lost all mats. Be careful and save often.

I haven't played NMS in about a year. It's amazing how much has changed since I last played. The freighter's are a lot more interesting IMO. I'm going to check out your other videos about freighter's for more information. Thanks!

Just the inspiration I needed, I was struggling so hard with the freighter set up. I usually just take over a trading port or a archive.

I love your theme! My own freighter base was inspired by the ground camp on LV-426 in Aliens, with external walkways connecting separate buildings. I nearly prefer your own cyberpunk styling - I might make a huge general use facility like this too!
