I've learnt this song In primary school in Ireland when I was young (I'm 42 now)
What we learned repeated the question what will we do with the drunken sailor every verse and the sailor went through was shaved on his belly Put In scubbard (barrel) put In Captains daughter bed. She disappeared sailer put in crowes nest. Put in longboat and more.
I remember it was a long song and we loved learning it The class would be hyped up and energetic and well go crazy.. But cannot find this full version anywhere.
I've passed this so g on to my children But would love if anyone could help track down the Full version of it Before it gets lost and replaced by the commercial version.
