FIRST DRIVE! 2025 AUDI S5 SEDAN TFSI - All details, launches, sounds & much more

Finally, the time has come for us to jump in the brand new 2025 Audi S5 Sedan and take it out for a proper drive. We find ourselves at the beautiful Coaste de Azur on the French Riviera and take it up the mountains where the James Bond films were recorded. Enjoy this newcomer and hope you like what you see.

Note: I brought my own front badges to the event and mounted them on the cars. Actually, most of the Audi people on location were thrilled that I did. Such a small change, but such a major difference.
But the amazing fact is that the front badges on the S/RS cars will come back very soon. We are talking about weeks. And it’s all thanks to you, for commenting on my push for this movement. We made a change and made Audi listen.

Finally they have reintroduced the s-front badges and there are also real exhaustpipes and red brakecalipers. Audi is finally listening to its community 😍

Maybe it will just take time for it to grow on me. Maybe after some modifications and trim options with wheels.. I will see it……because right now boys…I don’t. I love my s5. I’ve had 3 of them. Beautiful cars. As open minded as I try to be, this just doesn’t do it for me.

Like the way I guess I’d describe it is that it has a generic feel. I mean lowered any car will look a little better so I can’t really give it that.

Not impressed at all with this. As a massive Audi fan boy who has owned numerous S and RS cars this is such a let down. Looks like they paid a Kia designer to design this, & it just looks every other car on the market all a bit meh. And no coupe why?!!! The A5 coupe design was honestly one of the most beautifully designed cars ever. Audi have truly lost their way and a customer, sad times.

Very nice car, although I think it would be better that the driver's screen (behind the wheel) is better integrated inside the cockpit (with a sun shade like in the previous generation of A5). Third brake light could be wider as in the previous generation of A5. That would be far better looking and more noticeable to the drivers behind when on the road.

We need to see it in reality… remember the actual M3 front, before it was ugly and now we love it. but anyway it’s too heavy and the 7 speed dsg is old school 😢 thanks for the video

Good you made Audi listen.
Tell them to get back proper, more secure, full-time quattro with torsen, manual gearbox, ESP which can be turned off and a manual handbrake :) Then this car would be able to provide joy and fun as well in the winter like old Audi´s.
I´m looking forward to see this car in real and try it, but I am affraid it wont have anything better than I now have - in my 2014 B8.5 A4 allroad Quattro, where i have all the assistents, manual gearbox and great, safe proper Quattro, which works persistently.

I mean, I know a lot of people who are not buying new Audis, because it doesnt have manual gearbox, a lot of A3 and S4 owners.

I know that Audi was not selling much of them with manual, but now they are not selling even these.... I dont understand why Audi wanted to loose customers... that management decision was, sorry to say, it was stupid in my eyes. and since then, Quattro ultra, fancy bullshit like fake exhausts instead of tuning the technique to the top. Audi stopped its own Vorsprung durch technik.

Das es im S5 einen V6 hat ist top.
Gefällt mir sehr gut, Innenraum Top, schade keine beleuchteten Gurtschlösser.
Kein Augmentet Reality HUD finde ich sehr sehr schade.
Das normale 3-speichen Lenkrad find ich schön, das im Test wagen leider nicht. Ich persönlich hatte keine Probleme mit den Tasten auf der Probefahrt mit dem Q4.
"Nur" Matrix Licht? Warum nicht HD, Laser oder Digital Light? Wo ist der Vorsprung durch Technik?
Aussen sehr schade keine Rahmenlosen Fensterseitenscheiben, stand für mich immer für Premium.
Auch sehr schade das es das beleuchtete Audi Logo nicht auf den A5 geschaft hat.
Echte Endrohre sind top.
Hoffe das mit der "Schlechten" Rückfahrkamera wird noch besser.
Kann den RS5 als Limo kaum noch erwarten.

I am very disappointed because the old A5 sportback is effectively gone. But if you consider this as a “new a4” it’s actually pretty cool. I’ve seen the “avant” in the flesh, I quite like it, but I am still not sure about this
