The ESP32 is truly revolutionary. With the processing power, speeds and memory available, it can barely be called a microcontroller anymore, and should not be thought of as such.
Even if the increased computational capabilities are not used, it is the low power modes that make it an important change from the ESP8266. You can have it sleep while still 'dreaming' and collecting data, only to wake up form a very low power mode to post your data. It makes the device truly battery compatible, something that could only be 'faked' in the ESP8266.

Wow, the comparison with an UNO, which I have started out with, is incredible. I believe this will do everything and more I demanded from my UNO. Thanks for the video.

For some countries like the one I am in (Colombia), $20 USD is a very expensive solution and even worst when shipping is added, but now I find it in local stores for around $5 USD.

I think I would change my plan from STM32F4 to ESP32 for my high-end guitar effect pedal project...

Can you do another video of the MAX7219 Matrix but Use the "Parola for Arduino" Library?

You can buy the official development board from espressif off amazon for about 20 bucks, or off gridconnect (certified distributor) for about 10 bucks, but with about 17 bucks of shipping, so gridconnect is good if you want more than one.

Hi,
On this chip would be interesting how the additional functions work. I mean functions not yet present with older boards: temperature sensor, touch sensor, Hall sensor, etc. If you share my idea, this would be a good idea for a new tutorial. My personal interest is in the touch sensor, but all other sound interesting to discover.
Regards,
Daniel

Just a lil issue - ESP32 leaves no space on breadboard. Takes up all the columns on one side of the breadboard.
