I forget which it is but i belive it was the carpenter ant that also practices farming by taking cut leaves and bringing it to a chamber with a type of fungi they cultivate as food

You right, farming was something spontanious, in my country we have to ancient civilisations which started farming in this bits, the Cucuteni and the Vincha kultures
