"Do you have prior experience coding with the micro:bit? Are you curious about using the micro:bit sensors and new V2 data logger to record, store and analyse environmental data?
Lisa Anne Floyd will provide step-by-step instructions to collect data using the micro:bit V2’s built-in sensors. Through incorporating the Data Logger extension in MakeCode, students can collect data over a period of time and create visualizations to represent the data. Students can then apply these tools and skills in their science and technology investigations, as they conduct experiments or engage in the engineering design process.
Recommended Experience/Grade Level:
This session is geared towards educators of grades 4-8 who have prior experience coding with the micro:bit.

Hi Lisa I really enjoyed this look at the data logger - awesome video, great explanations and love how you linked it to curriculum. At 28:00 someone asks about why you need to set a minimum of 2 columns. You need to remember that one of those columns will be the timestamp, so you only need one other column to collect data from one of the sensors. I hope this helps
