While a 2019 report found that more than 20 percent of kids ages 12 to 18 admitted to being bullied, bullying can occur as early as elementary school.
Parental Guidance (PG) is a virtual initiative hosted by UHealth Jackson Children’s Care and Miami Mom Collective. It brings together educational information and family‑friendly resources through health experts to help expert parents produce epic kids.
Tune in and learn how to spot possible warning signs, how to begin a conversation about bullying with your child, and how to support them if they become a victim of bullying. Natasha Poulopoulos, PhD, a UHealth Jackson Children’s Care pediatric clinical psychologist at Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital, will be on hand to answer all of your questions.
