The Best Drone Shot For Real Estate Photos

If you are looking to get better real estate photos, drones give you access to so shots that make your photos more interesting. This is the #1 shot I aee real estate photographers miss, and it happens to be one of the best images to put as the cover of a listing. Fly your drone 12-15 feet off the ground in front of the property. This gives an aerial perspective but still a full view of the home facing you. It’s eye catching and will stand out amongst other eye-level tripod shots listed on Zillow, Realtor or Redfin. #okcrealtors #okcrealestate #realestatephotography #realestatephotographer #okcrealestate #oklahomarealestate #oklahomacityrealtors #mustangok #okc #oklahomapropertymanagement #mustangokrealestate #zillowlisting #redfinlisting #realtorlisting #tulsaoklahoma #tulsaoklahomacheck

You're 100% correct. I've been using this shot on every drone shoot for the past 4 years

Yep, always take a shot level with the eaves, my clients end up loving them the most. Cheers on your tip.

The trick is getting the sky in the shot. Agreed, I see so many shots that don't show the horizon at all.

I have a 15' pole (extendable painters pole) and I elevate my camera for every front shot.

Hell ya dude that’s usually the second photo angle we use on listings. We call it the peekaboo shot because you see the front of the house but if you are up just high enough then you can see what’s behind it too like if there is a pool etc.

I get this shot with a pole camera, too... also great for views off the side of the deck.

I started this in 2010 before drones were even called drones. We called them multirotors. I have thousands of hours of experience but the world doesn’t care. 16 year olds with $300 drones get hired just the same why I do now lol. I finally got out after over 12 years flying drones full time. Fair well.

I've taken this shot for years, but most of the time without a drone- I use a 20 foot pole with a camera mounted up there and trigger it with my phone.

Awesome tip!! I'm trying to get into Real Estate photography. Never owned or operated a drone before.

What is a good budget friendly one for beginners?
