DJI just released the highly anticipated Mavic 3 which is a beast of a drone. In todays video my friend @Gastón Luna and I drove with a 4x4 to some of the most beautiful landscapes around Cape Town in order to capture some epic footage with the Mavic 3. I talk about the storytelling side of drone shots and go more in-depth on how you can influence the tension and progression of your story with some simple tricks.

Bro! I’m doing tons of research leading up to buying my VERY FIRST drone for a feature length horror film I’m filming. Before I found this video I was just looking at specs, battery life, obstacle detection, size, loudness of the drone, post editing capabilities and video quality. You thoroughly explained why and how I should shoot a scene with my new drone to tell the story I’m trying to tell.
