She is so good.... all the haters here are just jealous.... she is not overly gimmicky nor has exaggerated mannerisms

A very personal and sweet performance. Like a love letter. I disagree with the one who said she’s trying too hard to be gimmicky. Her passion is clearly genuine. In an interview Hana said she likes to tell stories through her playing rather than show off. Bravo!!

Her violin and music is like a storyteller with a very fascinating sonority!

Love your playing like story telling. I first get to know you through this competition. It must be a tough time there because of people around as well. But just play and tell us your story. Your sound at least reached to me and was persuasive to me. Hopefully you keep doing what you are doing now. Hope to see you at more concerts.

Such a free head, sunch a sweet and powerfull sound when needed. And allways in connexion with the conductor and the orchestra. One of the very best finalists ! I hope THE BEST !

If you listen to her recital pieces, it is really quite outstanding. She really is one to watch in the future. In this competition, I think she just lacked a little strategy when playing concerto with a full orchestra. It requires broader scaling and a different approach to projecting sound and playing with other people. If I was the conductor, I would have a very difficult time trying to accompany her. It could be that maybe her concerto experience is not as extensive yet?

Regardless, if I was to buy a concert ticket out of all contestants, I would buy a ticket to Hana’s recital.

She reminds me of the young Kyung-Wha Chung back in the days. Bravo!

It seemed to me that the conductor was trying to push a faster tempo than the violinist's. Despite that, she played incredibly well and I applaud her for that. She performs with many colors of tone and expressions, truly becoming one with the music when she plays. I'm glad to have discovered her through this competition!
It would have been even better if they had kept a steady tempo that matched her pace.

She ended in the last 6 of the finalists. I can live with that.

It feels to me most inspired by Midori's brilliant performance with Abbado in Berlin (and yet of course being her own voice and approach to the music).

So personal!Stylish. Superlush'capricious .I am utterly beguiled. Every phrase each note different. Everyone raves about Elman'Szigeti'Zimbalist. Only Heifetz is unsurpassed. Oistrakh and that other Kogan. Today's virtuodi are better trained and hsbr better TASTE!

Does anyone know if she has Korean heritage? Either way, amazing, poetic Tchaikovsky performance!

A bit too much manierism for my taste, but otherwise really good. Don't know if it will be appreciated by the jury (and I don't care much).

It's not a cliché but often, it's the Asian candidates who are in the semi-finals or finals
