Seems like Asus went well in this year, they're the best innovators in the laptop market right now. I hope they price these things well.

Was considering a G14/G15 for the past year, but didn't want to spend so much money on a laptop that didn't meet some of my basic requirements, like having a webcam. Alongside all the other updates I think I have finally found my replacement

The new G14 looks perfect, 16:10, webcam with windows hello and a bigger trackpad. Its a portable beast, best thing is that the design is not too gamery and can be easily used for office work too.

Wow, this G14... I was considering it when it first came out, but went with other model in the end.. Though I will probably switch now..
(Except that HDMI directly on dGPU - I'd prefer it on iGPU still, so on linux I can ignore dGPU completely and hdmi works still...
Edit: see comments, or also asus video on G14, really there should be 2 usb C with DP, connecting one to iGPU and other to dGPU, so this is good!)

It's great to see manufacturers listening to customer feedback. Many thanks to outlets that hears us like Jarrods channel.

The new G14 got all the upgrades I was hoping for. Pretty awesome.

Asus has reached that stage where the innovation per year is very high. I hope they continue this trend!

The 2021 G14 not having a webcam was the only deal breaker for me. Now it basically has no flaws, and a strong choice for laptop of the year.

I love that almost all of the models will have a MUX switch... This is excellent news for laptop gamers

I was so close to pulling the trigger on the G14 last year. I just wished it had a 16:10 screen and a webcam (because I would use it for work also). So really, I wanted a G14 in an M16 format. Now I'm really glad I waited.

The new tuf line up is a huge improvement imo, 1440p, actual vents, mux switch, up to 140w tgp, tb4, and much more

Definitely looking forward to that. The G14 has the most upgrades since last years model. While the soldered ram is still a bummer atleast you can get 16gb right from the start. Making 32gb possible. Which would be plenty for many.

I am looking forward for the new Advantage Edition laptops with Ryzen 6000 series and RX6000s

What excites me the most is the budget TUF series. We all know that the zephyrus, strix and scar series will perform amazingly but costs quite a lot. If Asus can price the TUF series competitively with a higher power limit GPU and MUX switch, the TUF series may be taken more seriously by laptop gamers

7:00 The duo 16 actually has 140w + 10/25 w dynamic boost for a maximum tgp of 165w. Even more performance

I love how everyone said "this asus laptop is great but it just needs a MUX switch" and Asus just went "oh you want a MUX switch? BOOM! MUX switches across the board!"

It's nice when makers actually listen to customer feedback

Disappointed that the new G14 has all the upgrades I could hope for, but the AMD GPU is a big problem as I use CUDA for my workflow.

I am happy with my current laptop. I am happy with my current laptop. I am happy with my current laptop....

Must.... resist... spending.... money

7:01:"The biggest performance gains will probably come from the RGB lighting that's been added to the front just below the second screen though" 😂
