I wonder what is the source of this sound while giving more throttle at 0:56 (try to skip all the exhaust sound, just ignore it and pay attention to sound in background).
Mine do this also and I wonder what is the source.

Cut mine out in the same spot 2 yrs ago, my neighbor told me to not put the muffler back on because it sounded so good. The only thing I do not like is when I floor it, it sucks air up into the headers and makes a snorting sound. I have yet to put another muffler on and I do not floor it lol.

There are only two cats upstream with sensors, that last or 3rd small "muffler" is a resonator and has nothing to do with emissions.

I cut out both the muffler and resonator and strait piped mine. It sounds amazing and will still pass smog.

Does ur have a really loud Brrrt shift above half throttle? The more the throttles pressed down the louder it shifts it doesn't seem bad but I haven't heard anyone else's accept mine that have that

Does this mess with emissions? Sounds real good

Wait a minute. The catalytic converters and 02 sensors have obviously been deleted with this removal of the exhaust plumbing. How on earth is this truck going to pass emissions, and even if it will only be trailered to the wilderness for strictly offroading with no registration planned for general on-road driving, won't the missing cats and 02 sensors ultimately damage the engine by allowing it to run way too rich all the time?

I bought a 2004 WJ Laredo with the cats removed along with the 02 sensors, but I live time zones away from the USA, after shipping the truck to a place where emissions tests are not required for vehicle registration. My question about long-term engine damage due to there being no cats and 02 sensors is thus not out of idle curiosity, but genuine concern as to whether I'll really need to buy those costly cats to revert the exhaust back to factory stock. Apologies for all the questions I'm throwing at you. Any replies you can offer would be appreciated.

Moronic. There’s a reason why exhaust systems exit out the rear of a vehicle. If you don’t mind carbon monoxide poisoning, your delete is brilliant.
