Nice work! My wife treats her cars like that too. Cars are just an appliance to her. And a waste receptacle. I have bought her 4 brand new cars, she treats them like the hoopties. What is it with wives not respecting brand new cars??!

I still think it's a beautiful car. Really timeless and simple, which helps it's age. It's funny to think this is already 5 years old. Looks new!

I personally own a 17 Q7 3.0T Quattro Prestige, and it literally has everything (except smart cruise and keyless start) that I could ever want in a vehicle. It was amazing last winter and has been amazing on road trips!

Owner of a 2018 here. This one should have the CREC version of the 3.0, so both multiport and direct injection, which means less likely to need carbon cleaning. First thing I did was buy the service manual for mine, and seeing the multiport injectors in there made my day. Love mine, hope it lasts forever.

Funny that this video should appear in my feed while I’m checking out a 2017 Q7 3.0L Premium Plus!

Awesome video! I have the exact same ink blue with the nougat brown interior (only I have the piano black dash and center console trim). I bought it in February 2020 for $42k with 13k miles on it at the time. I’m currently at 21k. I’m at the point where I don’t want to take it to the stealership anymore for maintenance. They quoted $1500 for “preventive” maintenance for my next scheduled service.

Great review from a Mainard! The additon of the doggie cuteness made this review even better.

I’m about to buy my wife this exact vehicle. I never owned an Audi before so thanks for the review.

Awesome review man! I’m over in NH and I’m picking up a 17 Q7 3.0 prestige today! Got a great deal on it too, I don’t think the dealer knew exactly what they had in this car for the price I paid. Clean history and all services done. Awesome to see it actually driven in a review and tested through and through. Great video.

Nice video! What kind of scan tools would you recommend for a 2017 Audi Q7?

Note: This is a 2017 Q7 Prestige, with about 50k miles on the odometer.

Great review! I’m torn on this generation or the latest Q7, or the SQ7…. All have different pros/cons, the value is certainly there for the 4M.

I was looking at the Mercedez GLB, and to have something decent you gotta go wi the AMG package which raises the price, but if you go with a older Q7 you pay less and get much more. Only really differences is the price and year gap. Also when it comes to pricing we gotta keep in mind also tho the price has gone down, gotta remember that someone else already paid a partial of the price when it was new, weather it was leased or bought, thats why we check Miles/km's year and condition.

Been looking at prices for past 5 years. I want a 2017 / 18 with adaptive chassis with self driving / well almost for $24k may be time to start looking. Still worried about maintenance though.

So satisfying video on Q7. With the price around mid 20s, i am really thinking about it. Worried about the cost of repair for expensive German cars though...
