I was in Bali a few years back, and when I visited one of the more popular beaches there, I was shocked to see the mountains of waste and rubbish along the beach. Literally, the rubbish was dominating the space along the beach. That's an eye-opener!😮

Loved each interview Chai, especially the older gentleman, who was very well spoken, and the young, humble lady at the end.

So many people are arrogant and critical of how others live, and often try to change things to fit their style/comfort of living, instead immersing themselves in the culture of the country they are visiting.

And she is 100% on the money, we need to do better, as tourists/foreigners! When many of us know better, we do better!

I will try to put Bali on my list for next year, when i visit Thailand.

I'll will take in general about Indonesia:
Good points: Great culture, friendly people, Great beaches, landscape:
Bad points: Too much trash in some of the islands like Lombok and Bali sadly, scammers, mass tourism issues especially in Bali.
Ugly points: When certain people online hating and slandering when I always prefer one island over the other

Hi Chai...keep up the good work getting all the views and opinions...but...I'm just curious, what is keeping foreign tourists from exploring other parts of Indonesia? because most of the people that you've interviewed appear to be happy just spending their time in Bali....perhaps you can dig more into this? Again....great to see you doing your thing in Bali...and obviously more to come from Lombok and Java...
