I started learning Flamenco about a year and a half ago taking lessons from a good instructor here in the states. It has been a challenging but rewarding style of guitar and for some reason Golpe has come quite difficult to me.

Thanks so much for this particular instruction, it has help me in my understanding and my technique. As I am learning in Flamenco what seems to look relatively simple is actually the most challenging.

My favorite bit was when you went quickly through many styles. I never found a good introduction which contrasts all these wonderful flamenco mini-genres at full blast. Maybe somebody knows one?

i am trying the scissor golpe on and off for maybe two years. its just not in the cards for me, my brain refuses to cooperate. i understand what i am suppose to do and how to practice it, but there is no use. same for the thumb and golpe.
