Finally a video that actually shows ring sizes on fingers instead of videos trying to explain what each finger "means"! I can't wait for my first 5mm momento mori ring to come now!

6mm is the standard for most men's wedding bands but I like the 5mm because it is more understated, comfortable, and you can barely notice the 1mm difference anyway - worth it for the extra comfort.

I’m a size 8.5, I have somewhat slim long fingers. I wore a 6mm for a while but it always annoyed me and looked like a bit too much metal. I wear it 24/7 even at work. I ended up getting the same ring in a 5mm and it’s so much better. You don’t feel it whatsoever and it doesn’t look like you’re trying too hard. If you’re a size 8-9, the 5mm is a great choice. A ring that’s a bit too thick for your finger, will make you look ridiculous. Sometimes just 1mm makes a big difference.

Thank you for this, I have pretty big hands so 4-5mm rings weren't looking good on me. This was very helpful, looks like I'm going with the 7.5mm

I think past 6mm starts to look tacky. But really depends on the hands and personal preference.

I'm not merry. i like 2mm or 4mm and probably i can push it to 5mm just to stay in my comfortable zone.

I have been looking for months for videos that actually showed the width of 6mm and all I saw and heard was a lot of confusing mumbo jumbo about converting cm to inches and vs, or how many mm are in a cm ! I don’t know this system ! I’m from Olde school NYC , inches feet yards blocks miles . This kilometer cm mm system I don’t understand ! So THANK YOU FOR SUPER FANTASTIC VIDEO ! ☮️☮️☮️

So, I read somewhere that if you have a size 9 or higher finger (the guy in the video does not) consider a larger mm like 8. If lower, consider 6mm.

Is the 5mm thickness medium weight or heavy weight?

I have huge mitts and I wear a size 13 and the 8mm is perfect for a big hand. looks manly and not to feminine.

Could you maybe start with a 2 or 3 mm and work your way up next time

Anything less than 5mm is to small imo

Honestly, the thinner the better. I'm a taller dude and I wear a 3mm. Thinner wedding bands are SO much more comfortable and tasteful. Just because you're a dude doesn't mean you should have some massive dorky looking ring lol
