I recently picked up a The Ridge tungsten wedding ring when I realized I couldn't get my original wedding ring back on. 15 years ago, there were not that many options for men's wedding bands. Fast forward to today and companies like The Ridge are designing and selling better options for men when it comes to choosing wedding rings. Here is my review of the tungsten, gun metal wedding band option from The Ridge.

Honestly, I'd like to be able to just buy a bunch of "high-end" looking silicone bands/imitation rings. They'd be around $10, be more comfortable, be super-practical when working or doing physical stuff (90% of the time). Being so cheap, you could have a different one for every day of the year. You could wear multiples of them and have themes that compliment each other.
Hey, I just invented an entire market. I remember when jewelry used to be gold or silber. Anything other than those 2 metals were viewed as tacky and a great way to repel women. Needless to say, most of us wouldn't be caught dead without a "real" ring or accessory. And it had to be real gold, because if you were caught with something gold-plated, it would be horribly embarrassing.

Tech, fashion, and everything else has changed quite a bit in the past few decades. For the most part, change is good when it's reached a balance and settles out.

Ridge is nice for having a beater ring. Replacement stuff etc. I got a really nice Damascus steel ring from my local jeweler for just a bit more and it’s WAY better quality. But I don’t always want to wear that in conditions where it could be lost or damaged from whatever I’m doing. I have one of these and like it. Always been a fan of silicone for safety for certain condition. But yeah. Definitely not the premium version to have around. There’s Bette rings for the same price.

I have one from amazon that looks exactly the same as that one... its been 11 years now and it barely has a scratch. The one thing though is that it cost me like 40 bucks. Some of these ridge rings really shouldn't cost 175$ i don't think.

Not a bad looking ring but its literally the same exact ring you can buy for $25 but includes the silicone ring and a case. They all come from the same manufacturer.

It’s nothing special for the price. There are other brands out there in the same price bracket that come with better designs.
