When Alex Battaglia got his hands on a Steam Deck, this was inevitable, right? So, can the Steam Deck really run Crysis? And if so, what type of optimised settings produce the best performance? What's the best balance of features and battery life... and what about 60fps?

Capping to 30fps seems fine, given the original ran at like 20. But a working in-game cap at 40 would be ideal.

IMO, the Steam Deck is similar to a console in that its a known set of hardware. I'd love to see it included with the other consoles (i.e. PS5/Series X/Steam Deck/Switch).

It will be awesome when the Steam OS supports 40 Hz locked on the screen, and a locked 40 frames option. I know Valve is working on this in an upcoming branch which would work perfectly for your settings too.

Loving the Steam deck, playing doom eternal at 60fps on high settings has to be seen to believed, playing halo on the go too. Classic 90's to 2010 games run really well on the system, I absolutely love this machine
