I live in paddy area Leach always attached on my leg all the time...best way to remove it just put salt or detergent powder..work everytime

I kept a leech as a pet as a kid. I thought it was really neat how it could take blood without causing pain. My parents didn't like it and got rid of it when they found out.
Still a fan of leeches though, very neat little slugs. Wish all bloodsuckers were like them. Don't get me sick, don't make me itch, and i don't care if you take a little blood. The amount taken is so small it would barely register as a rounding error in my total volume.

I was always told to just leave them be when they’re small because they’ll pop off harmlessly on their own and any method of removing them could result in infection
