The "Replace" function replaces a set of characters in a string with another set of characters or an empty string. This function has optional arguments as well for which you need to provide values only if you need them. This video explains in detail how you can use the replace function.

had an issue, if use replace with group and contion succh as like

eg reason for visit *well care*, *well visit, * wcv * were strings to find in text
however wanted to replace ‘swell’ to ‘’nothing because I don’t want to match on swell, or swelling

in query design

replace(x, “swell”, “”)
group

Very nice. I imported a file that has text in all the dates . . . example: WED 8/17/2022 or TUE 8/16/2022 and MON 8/15/2022. I can strip individual days with this example: CallDate: Replace([Date], "WED ", "") but I'd like to strip all with the wildcard CallDate: Replace([Date], "* ", "") but Access won't let me. Any suggestions?
