LIVESTREAM: Senate resumes hearing on Alice Guo, POGO ties

The Senate committee on women, children, family relations and gender equality and the committee on migrant workers on Monday, September 9, resumes its hearing on dismissed mayor Alice Guo of Bamban, Tarlac and illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGOs in Central Luzon.

Tarlac Regional Trial Court Presiding Judge Sarah Vedaña-Delos Santos has allowed Guo to appear before the Senate inquiry at 10 am in response to the request of Senator Risa Hontiveros.

Madami loop hole ang batas, and as simple as the venue for the filing of the case is already a big deal. Aside from the questioning sa hearing, the court will decide sa fate ni Alice.
