Introducing the most expensive & exclusive coupe Bentley has ever made - the Bentley Batur!

This super-rare Bentley is based on the Continental GT, however, it’s been built by Bentley’s Mulliner division, so you just know there’s something special about it!

For starters, just look at it! It comes with a huge black & red grille up front, coupled with some bonnet vents and other air intakes. Coupled with that, there’s a gorgeous stripe on either side of the bonnet that runs along the whole length of the car! Around the back, the Batur comes with big muscular haunches along with a pair of sleek taillights.

The interior is just as eye-catching. For starters, the drive mode selector is literally made of solid GOLD! Elsewhere, the dash comes with a gorgeous sunburst effect, and the stitching on the chairs matches the pattern & colour of the exterior grille.

Under the bonnet, the Batur is equipped with the glorious 6-litre W12, with the power output dialled up to 740hp and 1,000Nm of torque! As a result, the Bentley Batur should be quicker than the GT Speed! We’d certainly love to try it over the quarter-mile, but given it’s limited to a run of just 18 (which are all already sold, we might add!) we may be waiting for some time…

So what do you think - is the Batur worth the eye-watering £2,000,000 price tag?! You’ll need to stick with Mat to see for yourself!

It's like if Jaguar asked Audi to design the next F-Type

I prefer the styling of the continental gt. This one seems a bit too generic and doesn't look like a Bentley to me. The interior however is cool and the gold accents surprisingly tasteful.

if Bentley gets rid of their iconic round head lights I will be throwing hands

The exterior styling looks like something from Hyundai/Genesis designers. Tons of styling cues from prominent luxury marques stitched together into a very attractive but generic package. I can’t help but be reminded of Jag lights, an Audi roof, an SL rear, etc.
The Conti GT in its original form is undoubtedly a BENTLEY.

As much as I would like to love this Bentley, I can't just overlook the fact that they removed most of the originality of this car by replacing their signature headlights with those new ones. This new Bentley doesn't feel like a "BENTLEY". It just looks like some other car. Doesn't have have Bentley feel to it except the interior and ride quality of course.

If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to make you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You most look outward if you wanna be successful in life.

Damn, this is by far the best looking modern Bentley i´ve seen.
EDIT: LMAO Mat, now we know why you are so hyped up at times! 50 £ per gram seems rather cheap tho. 😆👌

What always distinguished the forerunners of this car was that, in certain ways, they looked like nothing else in this segment. This was down to some key proportion and characterising details in the design. Notably, these included very pronounced and proportionally substantial rear arches with strong crease lines and geometric relationships between details such as vents, surface lines and glasshouse shapes etc. Other essential identifying traits included Bentley motifs signature shapes in the rear lights and side vents - here, needlessly removed. This car not only changes the overall proportions from the side view, making it look much less low and long (not necessarily a bad thing but a radical departure from a key identifier of the car's linage) but critically brings in pastiche elements from brands that rank below it. It also fails to cohere these various changes in the relationships between lines shapes and proportions.

The overall roof line is overtly taken from the last 20 years of Mercedes coupes and the rear is a, jarringly incoherent, pilfering of the rear end treatments of just about every Aston Martin coupe of the last decade. This produces a superficially arresting and attention grabbing design but at the expense of trading off key and unique brand-identifying elements. Don't get me wrong I like this - but I won't for long and I can't say its a cohesive or mature design when compared to others that made the brand so memorable. This is a, comparatively cheap, and ultimately sub-par design by Bentley standards (however superficially modish and fun). Add to that the aftermarket looking wheels, with none of style-over-fashion design that usually distinguishes the brand, and the failure of this car to be a true modernisation, rather than a high street me-too pretender, is all too apparent. This puzzling bit of fashion signalling design will never be a classic. If it was a Hyundai Genesis product (or anything from the Audi stable) I'd think it was great - but it's not is it?

I do i love Bentley. Is my favorite cats brand. And this one looks amazing. But i would have never changed the front lights. They were sometging what maded bentley totally diferent from other cars. This new one looks amazing but becomes another luxury expensive car as many others. Perhaps Iam a bit classic but the front lights were something unique from Bentley. Best regards

I really like how little gold there is in the interior. It makes it classy, not tacky.

Those alloys look they've come from a budget runabout. The whole design is something if you slapped an MG badge and EV badge on the back it wouldn't surprise people.

A beautiful beast. Bentley styling doesn't generally do it for me, but this is something very special. WO would be proud.
