Allow me to show the easiest way of doing this. What ever the number you get after of will be denominator and after or before is will be numerator then multiply with 100.
In this case, 24/60*100=40%

40%. 12 is the GCN of 60 and 24 equalling out to 5 and 2. 2 divided by 5 is .4 and move the decimal place to the left by 2 digits will get you 40 i.e 40%

It's obvious that 24 is a bit less than half of 60, should be able to choose answer instantly with no working out.

For me, it was as simp, e as knowing that 30 is 50% of 60, so the answer wouldn’t be much less than 50%, which comes to 40% based on the options given.

.4 is 40% of 100. And if you divide any small number by a large number, it will give you a percentage always move the decimal to places to the right you’re welcome.

Approximating works better for this one. 24 is hard to work with in your head so call it 20. 20 is 1/3rd of 60 or .33. The only one close is .4

The easier way was to multiply x by 60 and then whole divided by 100 = 24

Do you have any on long division an easy way? I got my asvab on Monday and I struggle with long division example 4/248 stuff like that
