This 20 Year Old Camera beats Arri Alexa - Costs $15

I know you've seen videos of people modifying their $200 camera so it can shoot 4K or 6K, seemingly with no restrictions.
And this is exactly one of those videos except I tell you why those videos are a complete lie.

A cheap camera is a cheap camera for a reason, and even though manufacturers do use their cripple hammers from time to time to make certain features worse so people buy more into the expensive models, there's only so much a Canon EOS M processor can do, and not only that but also their sensors have limitations which will definitely not give you the same dynamic range or colors as an Arri or any dedicated cinema camera will, that if budget cameras COULD shoot raw.
The camera in the video is a Canon Powershot S50, it shoots 360p if I remember correctly.

What other trends do you not like in the camera community?
Thanks for watching!

Got an S45 and it's a beast. Ordering a S70 and I can't wait for it to come in.

Fun video title and I enjoyed the technical explanation!😄Have you used the camera for any stills shooting? I recently found a silver Powershot S50 for 12 bucks and have been testing it the last couple of weeks...it provides some film like quality.

Video on the S70 only lasts 30 seconds. And when you brought up 6k on the camera, you explained by talking about other cameras, and never got back to the Poweshot. Oh. So it can shoot 6k for a tenth of a second? I'm going to go lay down..
