PS5: Buy Now or Wait for PS5 Pro?

Should you buy a PlayStation 5 now? Maybe, except the PS5 Pro is probably coming out soon. So, what should you do?

After seeing how long the PS4 stuck around, I'd wait for the PS5 Pro. Spend the extra money and enjoy the better performance, even on older games that have gotten much cheaper by now.

only 1 answer is acceptable that is wait . if you wait you either get a new console that's the most powerful or you get a further discount on the ps5 which will drop in price after ps5 pro release

I'm getting the Pro on day 1. I still use the PS4 slim. I have a big PS4 backlog. I always had the cash for a PS5, but knew to wait for the pro.

It's the 30th anniversary of PlayStation this year. I'm hoping to see an anniversary edition of the PlayStation 5, I would love to get my hands on one of those. Especially since they are limited editions.

Yes, I have the Playstation 5 which I bought on Christmas 2023 and I'm loving it. I also have a PS3, PS4 with an extensive backlog of games. The PS5 Pro will eventually get to the point of getting cheaper in the future so if I decide to pick one up later then that's that, but I'm fine with the PS5 Slim.

I'll keep my ps5 slim, no point of upgrading to the pro if you already have a ps5. Upgrade your ssd. Me myself plan on getting the ps5 remote play. Easiest way I can get some gaming in with a kid.

Even if gta 6 still runs at 30fps on PS5 Pro it will still benefit from the extra power

I wait for the launch. Then compare the PS5 with the Pro. Then see if a PS5 Pro makes sense with my TV. Then buy either of them
