I have had so many people scooping on Master Duel out of pure confusion when I activate a Solfachord card.


I can't blame them, I havent read a single Solfachord card in my life.

My biggest gripe with pendulum will always be their readability because of this:
Yu-Gi-Oh Field: monsters in the top row, spells/traps in the back row.
Pendulum monsters: spell effect in the top row, monster effect in the back row

My favorite part of playing Pendulums is my opponent scooping when they read a full Shakespeare's plays worth of text on the field. The best part os that it does absolutely nothing

Idc how much text it has, even if i lose from reading every card unfamiliar to me from timeout, my opponent will be patient for that win they want from preying upon my lack of knowledge. Even if i lose, ill at least understand the choke points for all duels against that deck moving forward.

Honestly the annoying part about pendulums is when the monster effect is relevant when it is in the pend zone or vice versa. Ah yes of course when the spell card gets popped the monster effect triggers.

The most annoying part about pendulums is when they have a pendulum effect that destroys them and that triggers the monster effect half of the card.
