Noam Chomsky is back on my channel to discuss the increasing rhetoric against the Chinese government. Is it a fear that is justifiable or has China now replaced terrorism and the soviets as the Western World's New Boogeyman?

Your interview on the Empire Podcast was very insightfull. Your channel is also very interesting. If I may leave a small suggestion, the webcam image quality isn't so good and the image shakes everytme you touch the desk. Perhaps a camera on a tripod is a better solution. Cameras with interchangeble lenses allow the background to fall nicely out of focus. Also the gap between the top of the frame and the top of your head could be smaller. These aspects may sound too technical and not important but they make a difference to whomever is watching.

I appreciate this talk as I don’t often hear Chomsky go into detail about issues in Asia. I do wish you had brought up Taiwan though. I’d be interested to hear his perspective beyond the One China policy.

Chomsky is still so remarkably lucid. How can something be titled "The Chinese Boogeyman" when you don't even ask about the Taiwan question? What a missed opportunity. Next time, please do your homework.

The India affair! But again the Indians can't decipher the political rhetoric of 'we are the 5th economy, we will be huge than China", oh! really, let me ask how is the growing GDP is helping the poor Indians...!?, Not at all it is always the Modi circles that benefit!. And that is what gonna happen for centuries to come, I don't think India will be anything meaningful in the world. My take.
