Fred again.. - Big Hen (Steal My Joy)

I absolutely love this video because it’s not rrrreeally a video, it was jus a spontaneous capturing of an evening. And a beautiful one. On the good days this is how I spent my lockdown and I feel very lucky that that’s the case. I mean there was a fair share of not good days, but when the good is this good ummm well, it’s good. This was one of the few songs on the record that was born out of real joy. So it makes sense it’s named after Joy Anonymous himself, big hen.

Allllso the most important thing that everyone knows about this song is that the chorus is by hen!
Now obviously when I sang it I assumed his version was gonna come out first so this would jus look like a cover but his still hasn’t come out! So yeah it really is his song! It jus resonated me, no different to any other sample on this record I guess. Jus this ones my best friend.

Fred you are my music discovery of this year, I can't recall when I had such a joy with each new song of an particular artist. I bet it was 7-8 years ago when I discovered and fell in love with Henry Saiz and his tunes. Anyway, keep up the good work, whats the best is that you can never be sure what you gonna drop in next video/song apart from some instagram sampled vocals. But is it gonna be slower, more big beat, or more electronic. Who knows? And thats the best part of your tunes. always suprising but always in a good way. By the way - do you think there is a chance to create something more mellow like Croquet Club from Anjunadeep? or Aquilo?
