A volcanic area rich with hot mineral-thermal waters that gushed from the hillside, Baiae is a archaeological site that you can explore today. I prowled around during the early 1960s when stationed at the NATQ HQ in Bagnoil, a Naples suburb. Looks considerably better these days. I lived in the Gaiola neighborhood, Posillipo Quarter of Naples. Since my time the Villa of Vedius Pollio, in the Gaiola, has been excavated and would make an interesting video.

That's some beautiful remains of floor mosaic with some timeless images (4:51) and the still-standing dome is incredible (11:00). I'm putting Baiæ on my bucket list… for after people wake up and when the worldwide-coordinated medical coercion ends. Great video!
