What’s the job you’re actually trying to get to. Because if you’re watching this video, I assume you don’t want to be a PA forever. So, do you want to be a director? Do you want to be a producer? Do you want to be a writer, a director of photograph, production designer, wardrobe stylist, line producer? These are all or they were just by the way great jobs. These are all exciting, fun, demanding, creative fulfilling jobs. And the sooner you figure out what job you want to end up at, you know, Steadicam Op, crane op, I mean the list goes on. Key grip, gaffer, sound, I guess I just forget sound, so much good stuff. Figure out what you want. When you’re on set, look around and say what job do you like, figure out what you want to do. And the key thing is make buddies with those people in those departments, so they can mentor you and train you. But they can’t do that until you figure out what you want to do.
