Great info. Would be useful to have specs on the size of the bracket. ETA: looking around the internet, those specs are hard to come by. According to a response from someone from Ring on the Home Depot website, the size of the part that mounts to the all is 4 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" wide.

I have used the Wyze spotlight for 2 months, I still wish it was installed into the camera.
So the ring cam is 1 step ahead

I have questions does the solar panel really keep them charged I have 8 That I have linked together because I have a crazy neighbor problem I had another question but forget but how much is solar panel how well does the ring solar flood light does that always stay charged at all times as well I am thinking about getting some definitely getting solar panel tho how much for solar flood lights sorry about the questions

How well does it actually charge? I've had some ring solar panels before and they SUCKED. I purchased aftermarket ones and they kept my unit charged so much better.

I don’t understand the need for a solar panel. It doesn’t take much time or effort to switch out the battery lol. It pops out and pops in fast and easy. Solar panel will only deteriorate and get dirty over time. It’s constantly charging the battery as well and from what I heard isn’t that bad for rechargeable batteries? They degrade and more than likely you will have to replace the battery because it won’t charge anymore? My batteries last a few months before I charge them.
