In this video we'll talk about both phone's performance, the display quality, the in-hand feel and design, as well as its cameras to ultimately see which I prefer to use on a daily basis. 2 years with an iPhone, have confirmed that iPhone is great ( Build quality, Speakers, Chip, Screen) but iOS is too restrictive and incomplete for me. I wouldn't choose 15 Pro Max only for videos. Since I DGAF about Ecosystem too, S24 Ultra is my choice without a doubt.

Came to the 15 Pro Max from the 11, and before that, the Note 4. Now looking for the first opportunity to get back to Samsung. I've grown blind to how much I miss android after being with IOS for so long. Here's my personal list of reasons for the switch: I hate waiting on apple's animation, even with motion dialed down. I also hate waiting for apps to finish doing something instead of them being able to run in the background. I also prefer android keyboards, customization, T9 dialer, speed dial, cursor movement, no swiping after screen unlock, home screen setup, file management, text copying, back button, home screen layout, ultra fast charging, in-app settings, in-app notification settings, notifications, widgets, google assistant, ultra low power mode, scheduled text messages, dex, and higher screen brightness for bright sunny days. The only thing I could see myself missing about my iphone is native encrypted messaging, but the use case for me is limited. Can't wait to switch back to android.

Great video, it's all about personal requirements. I have been an iPhone user since the X. This year I picked up the s24 as a fun phone. Instantly fell in love with where android is today and I was having fun again. Every year iPhone to iPhone felt the same, upgrading didn't have any excitement anymore. My 14 pro max felt the same as my 15 pro max. I ended up selling my 15 pro max and haven't looked back. Googles ecosystem has come a long way!

When iPhones has flaws like overheating people is hush hush to prevent bad marketing. Yet, the reverse, people will lose their minds. That should tell you about the company and people that uses them.

Just came across your video, excellent job. June 10th bought a new iPhone 15 Pro Max and today, June 15th i’m taking back to my carrier and switching to a Samsung S 24 ultra. Had always been a Samsung user in the past thought I would try the iPhone out, for me a big mistake. BTW I love your wallpaper and icon pack.!

Love both phones. They are both great. Have both and it’s hard to decide which one to use.

This video points out kinda deciding factors. It's up to a user what you prefer these days. However, I think iphone being unable to do tasks and be as compact device of all the features and such for their prices is a crime ar this stage. I'm on iphone 15 pro max and I always complain about the iOs which compared to android is prehistoric. However. As said here, it's still a great phone for different type of users, so everyone can find their own field whether choosing iphone or Samsung.

I’m not really a fan of Samsung multitasking. I don’t really find it that useful. What I missed more than anything from iPhone was the ability to quick swipe on the bottom of the screen to quickly swipe back-and-forth between screens. That’s simple ultrafast gesture I found more useful than any multitasking on android. I missed it so much.

Mark, are you going to check on the Huawei Pura 70Ultra? I'm eager to see your take on this phone especially the camera. Great content as always.

I don't care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences.

I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation.

I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI.
On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?

I shoot video on iPhones and edit them in Lumafusion. They are sending me a Galaxy S24 on a 7 day trial so I can see if the video features/output work better for my purposes. But here you seem to be saying that despite the 200 megapixel camera on Samsung, you prefer the iPhone for video content creators. Do you have a video where you cover your video editing process?

I normally have both the Ultra and Pro Max phones together but this year I couldn't. For work I'd use the iPhone and for the weekends the Samsung. My Company has now pushed into an Apple ecosystem where we have everything Apple now. Even my dog has an AirTag. Sticking with the iPhone 15 Pro Max for a while, it's such a solid device. Plus I have an external hard drive (for Log video), MagSafe accessories at my house, in my car and at work.

I've never owned an iPhone before always been an android user. But, I'm going to try the iPhone out in September and see if I like it. I figure I should get the best that iPhone has to offer and I think that is the IPHONE 16 Pro Max

The fact that almost no 'Tech Reviewer' was even dead serious about the massive Overheating and Battery Issues, on first, the 14 Pro Max and then now on the 15 Pro Max tells you all you need to know about these people.

My own 14 Pro Max for the first 4-5 months was a pain in the ass to use.

The battery drained like crazy. iOS 16 had many bugs. It overheated whilst making calls on 5G, or watching anything [like YouTube or Netflix].

Had the same issues with my Pixel 7 Pro as well.

But my S22 Ultra is the King.

Awesome Battery Life, crazy-fast snappy performance, no bugs or slowdowns whatsoever, [have 2-3 GoodLock Modules (Registart etc) that are permanently running in the background], no overheating, nothing.

But, everybody right up to MKBHD, railed against the Pixel 7 Series, but didn't utter a single word about the issues plaguing 14 Pros and 15 Pros.

My wet dream is an iOS on a Galaxy S24 Ultra + splitscreen/pop-up window, clipboard, customizability (GoodLock level), no iMessage blue/green bubble BS, camera app (pro mode) and Samsung Notes.

I've been iphone for years. Swapped to 24U last week. Main thing i hate is trying to send pictures and videos to anyone with iphone. Might swap back just for this reason.

Just a point for those who use tempered glass protectors: they will eliminate the anti-glare advantage and make the glass reflectivity similar to that of the other brands. This is a bad miss by Samsung, as many of us slap on a protector, and £1350 phones that are with us 24/7 need a case and protection unless you are rich.

Corning, which owns the anti-glare patent, is unlikely to allow this on tempered glass protectors, at least for the medium term, so that is a negative. Corning allowed Samsung to sell (very expensive) non-tempered screen protectors that help with scratches but are not as helpful for drops. Samsung bought an exclusive period for this feature and that is now over, so we are likely to see many OEMs use this next year.
