Lágrima is such a wondrous piece! it’s my dad’s favorite guitar piece from when he used to play, and he was a very big reason as to why i play classical guitar :) Lágrima in it’s most simple form is a beginner piece, it was one of the first ones that i learned! but to play it dynamically, emotionally and to implement your own style into it gives the piece SUCH a big skill curve. great video btw ♡♡

Well.. i play classical guitar also and i don't think it works like that 😊
Its True - the 3rd piece is technically harder and more (technically) advanced, but.. to illustrate the 3 levels of classical guitar youll have to play *the first piece* (lagrima) in all 3 levels. Lagrima holds more place for expression as its (technically) easier to play..
The 'advanced' piece you showed is much more 'mechanic' and fast and therefore might sound more professional for the simple listener just because of it.

I love Lagrima. I assume you were trying to sound like a beginner when playing it 😁 it can be such a beautiful piece when performed with diligence and feel

How do you use higher notes on the fretboard? It’s impossible to press them down for me and they’re always out of tune. It also is hard because I don’t have enough fingers to hold everything down up there!

I think you should’ve played lagrima as a beginner, then intermediate, then advanced.

I just made it to ‘intermediate’ on my course. It’s great that they invented a title for people doomed to stay at beginner level for the rest of their lives…
