COME TO TANZANIA WITH ME: 48 hours of travel + the first few days | UGA study abroad
Показать описание
this past month, I had the once in a lifetime privilege of doing a maymester abroad in Tanzania, Africa. after 23 hours of travel turned into 48, thanks to delayed flights & missed connections, we finally made it to our home base of Moshi, Tanzania. we quickly adjusted to our new home, sleep schedules, food, and ways of life in Africa and explored from Moshi to Arusha. we went to markets, visited a textile mill, talked to lots of locals, and visited the Upendo Home for Children, which this program has partnered with for many years, but out of respect, there is no footage of these activities. these first couple of days were filled with busy days, lots of beautiful sights (& long bus rides), and taking it all in.
a very HUGE thank you to Zara Tours for making this trip possible and being the best and most welcoming hosts we could have asked for. if you ever visit Tanzania, do yourself a favor and book with them! you will NOT regret it. they do everything from hotel arrangements and transportation to safaris and climbing Kilimanjaro.
