i have a tip for new players. dont spread your resources too thin by buying a bunch of stuff for different characters unless your checking them out, or just try to figure out what class you want to stick with for a while work it up to a certain goal and use the others as boss alternates and try not to worry about farming on to many characters. i played for a while and tried to buy stuff and check out a couple of different characters when it really wasnt worth it even tho i had fun. you dont wanna spend a little 2 bil here and 2 bil there. just grind up the best you can. expensive purchases add up i just spent a while selling boss weapons and black star weapons that i really didnt need yet because i could do the exact same thing with the jetinas boss gear that i got so i built myself up to 258 ap on that and sold the 2 tri black stars i had on another class so i can save up for a much better accessorie tht i will also put with my boss gear on my sage and then ill go from there and decide what i want to do.

bosses are really good to hit you can get a boss weapon box either from the boss itself or trading in 100 of an item you get from going to the boss and they sell for a good bit. and you need to do world bosses to upgrade jetinas gear if you wanna do that if not its still worth hitting the bosses.


with a pen kutum tet offin belt necklace and one ring pen capotia 2 tuv earrings all tet boss gear still no reform stones and 6 bartali journals done im at 258 ap and 311 dp on my succ sage ( MAKE SURE TO DO BARTALI JOURNALS AND OTHER JOURNALS FOR PERMENANT STATS ON ALL CHARACTERS LIKE AP DP STAMINA AND HP) there are guides on yt about what ones are the best to do and how to do them.

That is the most frustrating advice anyone can give. If I asked for your opinion, give it.

General tips for newer players: don't just blindly sell stuff that is worth something on the CM. There are so many things that can be a bottleneck for your progression that you don't know about it yet. So inform yourself, read guides (GrumpyG, etc.), and only sell stuff if you really need the silver badly.

Regarding doing all life skills on one character: I did not have a lot of time when I started playing ~2 years ago and I discovered horse training, so I would just train horses all day and night when I had to do other stuff or sleep. Now that my main character is a jack of all trades I just see travel time as a way to train a horse, so the time traveling is not "lost" :). I know you can go a lot faster by riding actively with sprint + reset, but I don't really enjoy riding actively and I have plenty of other stuff to do while moving from through the world of bdo :).

I do have plenty of other lvl 61s from all the seasons to get the family fame as well as quest count up, but I don't use them for much besides having them parked at bosses and getting energy potions to sell on the CM.

hey so i have a ton of valk failstacks i've been hoarding over the years. I know it's supposedly has a lot of value to all those 20/40/60 stacks, especially the 100/120/150 stacks I got just sitting there but whenever i've tried enhancing acc's i always end up losing money even tho I'm doing the right stacks so idk what to do with them. the 150s i plan to push when i am working on BS eventually but all the stuff 20-60 especially I don't have use for and have hundreds of them lol

Im at 286AAP/392DP lvl 63 Guardian, ive been grinding orcs a lot because its more of a chill spot, i make around 500mil per hour and good exp, do you think i could be more effiecient with silver and exp per hour or stick with orcs until i get a little higher in gear?

Okay so I pick a spot where I want to go grinding at and I start now what items am I looking for and what items are going to make me the most money and what do I do with I once I get and what is considered trash item and what do I do with like I get all the grinding places that are good to make money at I just don't know how to use and what items I'm looking for and what to do with them I get the last film I know that but I don't know what items are for how much and what I know if I'm supposed to be looking for so can you come like do it in-depth grinding video where you actually grind in show the people that items in which you sell them for please man I've been like trying to figure it out the most I make is a couple thousand dollars help me please

My biggest tip would honestly be ignore videos like this that try to FOMO you into turning the game into a chore or daily homework that you NEED TO DO OR YOU WILL BE BEHIND. Using energy on every character, making "optimal" alts for every optimized little thing in the game, it kills any sense of fun for new players and instills a sense of "am I doing things right". Overall useless and harmful video.

I must boast that I was probably one of the smarter BDO players, because I knew about all the mistakes you mention ;P But I started the first character ... after a year of watching and analyzing guides on yt ;) Yes, that's right, I bought BDO and I didn't play for a year because I was terrified of the complexity of the game. During this time I got to know most of the basics in theory, read many tutorials, watched videos guides. Prepared with this knowledge, I just created my first character on the seasonal server. In addition, during her leveling, I double-checked every new decision on the Internet.
