I'm from Iran we always eat Shami kabob we call call it kabob Shami the same thing but switched they are soo good you should try it 🤤😋

Shami means Syrian or Levantine. It probably has its origins from Syria. I've eaten this many times, Always tastes great. Love to our brothers in Pakistan.

This dish reminds me of my nani. She always would make a whole buch just for me. I would stack them and eat it. Also she did something very unique, she pressure-cooks mutton cubes and make a paste that u can eat (she would sometimes add bread), make discs and then dip in beaten egg and fry it. Just nostalgia

The egg is just for coating. Doesn't go in the mixture. Makes it sticky not bindy.. For the lack of word 🙂

Essentially shami kababs arent dipped in egg, because the egg is incorprorated in the mince meat while blending, with a slice of bread to hold firmness. Then the kabab is frim and doesnt break and doesnt need another egg.

Recipe is spot on. Try it with braising a whole beef muscle and shredding it next time. Texture is wayyy better!

We make something similar here in Lebanon with very similar ingredients but without meat, it's called Falafel, it's so yummy and i suggest you try it, it's easy to make at home

I use shan shami kebab mix. Hand pick all of the green cardamon seeds (Takes about ten minutes) and then carry on with the rest of your recipe. Thankyou have a good day👍
