There is this thing about J.S. Bach music, that NO MATTER what it is played on - be it a cellphone ringtone, a set of exhaust pipes, a church organ, set of human voices, even drums, really! no matter at all -- it is captivating all the same.

Indeed this performance is amazing, except for just one 'fermata' that was over-done, It keeps the voices, and is so gentle and beautiful... but again. It's so hard to know who's to applaud here... J.S.Bach again, or the wonderful performer.

Anyways... a big big LIKE - I loved this very much. Thanks.

As anyone who plays mallets (and memorizes a piece) can tell you, that feat took just... a couple of hours of practice. SUPER IMPRESSED!

Believe it or not....about 15 years ago I created an arrangement of this same piece and played on a synthesizer....and the sound tone I used was a Marimba. I also play pipe organ and electronic organs, accordion and digital accordion. I always thought that this Bach Invention #13 was the perfect Marimba piece. Looks like you agree ;-) Very well played and fine dynamics!

I have played this on piano and it's mind boggling how this gentleman could be so musical with 4 mallets. His phrasing is just amazing and lovely and I can't believe his touch using, again, 4 mallets. What a talent. Thank you!!
