the first step was my PPE (personal protective equipment) and disabling the lawnmower by disconnecting the sparkplug.

How do you fix the oil spewing out from the air filter area and the other metal opening on the other side? 😢

I hate the paper air filters, because when they’re worn they must be replaced with you having to buy a new filter. The “sponge” air filters are better because they can be cleaned and oiled to last much longer.

Only 2 screws on the carb need to come off, not the top housing or the tank
